1. HOW DOES BREATHE WORK?
The BREATHE e-cig experience is is similar to traditional tobacco smoking. E-cigs look, feel and taste like tobacco cigarettes but deliver all the pleasures of smoking without the tar, chemicals, and negative societal effects that are associated with tobacco cigarettes. What makes this revolutionary, non-flammable device so special is its modern microelectronic technology which includes: a small rechargeable battery, a replaceable cartridge containing water, propylene glycol, nicotine, flavoring that emulates the taste of tobacco or other desirable flavors, and a membrane to suspend the ingredients.
When using BREATHE, the act of inhaling (smoking) produces the tactile and craving satisfactions traditional smokers seek and triggers a vaporizing process that releases simulated smoke, which is virtually an odorless vapor mist that evaporates into the air within a few seconds.
2. WHAT IS PROPYLENE GLYCOL?
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined propylene glycol to be generally recognized as safe for use in food, cosmetics, and medicines. Propylene glycol is used in food coloring and flavorings as an additive to keep food, medicines, and cosmetics moist, and is also used in machines that simulate smoke. Utilizing propylene glycol in simulated smoke devices is not yet on the list of uses generally recognized as safe by the FDA. In BREATHE e-cigs, propylene glycol functions to suspend flavor and to provide the vapor mist that looks like smoke.
3. WHAT IS NICOTINE AND HOW DOES IT AFFECT THE BODY?
Nicotine is an alkaloid found in certain plants, predominantly tobacco; and in lower quantities in tomato, potato, eggplant, cauliflower, green peppers and some teas. When absorbed in small amounts from cigarettes, cigars, or BREATHE e-cigs, nicotine can cause a feeling of relaxation, calmness, alertness. and stimulation. The effects of nicotine can last from minutes to hours. Nicotine is considered habit forming and addictive.
The carcinogenic properties of nicotine, isolated from tobacco smoke, have not been evaluated by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). However, current available literature indicates that nicotine, on its own, does not promote the development of cancer in healthy tissue and has no mutagenic properties.
4. WHAT ARE THE NICOTINE STRENGTHS OF BREATHE CARTRIDGES?
BREATHE cartridges are available in 4 strengths:
- High 24mg nicotine
- Medium 18mg nicotine (Tobacco and Menthol only)
- Low 11mg nicotine
- Non 0mg nicotine (Tobacco and Menthol only)
5. WHAT ARE THE NICOTINE STRENGTHS OF BREATHE LIQUIDS?
BREATHE liquids are available in 4 strengths:
- High 24mg nicotine
- Medium 18mg nicotine
- Low 11mg nicotine
- Non 0mg nicotine
6. HOW LONG DOES A BREATHE CARTRIDGE LAST?
Results will vary depending on the intensity of a person’s average inhalation. Comparatively, one BREATHE cartridge will last the equivalent of approximately 300-350 puffs or 1 1/2 to 2 packs of traditional tobacco cigarettes. Should you experience little or no vapor, make sure that your battery is fully charged and properly attached to the device, and that the cartridge is firmly inserted in the end of the device. When the vapor volume is reduced below a satisfactory level, replace it with a new BREATHE cartridge. Cartridges should be stored in a cool, dry place. Shelf life for unused cartridges is 6-12 months from the date of purchase.
7. HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST BEFORE NEEDING TO BE RECHARGED?
The BREATHE battery will generally last approximately 150-200 puffs before needing recharging, depending on the intensity of usage. Longevity is impacted by the intensity of the puffs and will vary by individual. The indicator light tip will blink several times for about 9 seconds when the battery is getting low on power. We encourage you to carry an extra battery during anticipated times of high usage.
Subsequent recharges should take about 2 hours. BREATHE uses a 3.6V special lithium battery and charger, which cannot be replaced by other lithium batteries or chargers. The input supply voltage of the charger is AC100-240V, 50/60Hz, or DC 12-24V. When traveling, make sure that the local electrical supply is in accordance with these specifications.
8. HOW DO I CHARGE THE BREATHE ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE?
To charge the special lithium batteries simply insert the battery into the provided USB charger. The USB Charger can be connected to an AC Charger, a Car Charger attachment, or directly into any USB connection. The LED light at the tip of the battery will blink three times, which indicates that the battery is charging. If the battery is completely dead, it may not blink when first placed on the charger, but the light on the charger will turn red. After approximately two hours, the battery will be fully charged, and the indicator light will turn from red to green on AC and Car Chargers, and from red to blue on USB Chargers. The electronic cigarette is now ready for use again. Promptly remove fully charged batteries from the charger to avoid overcharging and reducing the life of the battery. Do not leave batteries unattended while charging. Charge batteries on a nonflammable surface using only the Breathe battery charger. The charger should never be used outdoors or in a damp environment.
9. HOW DO I TURN ON THE BREATHE ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE?
BREATHE Electronic Cigarettes do not have an on or off switch. Simply inhale on the device, and the e-cig will switch on. When you are done, put the e-cig back in your pocket or carrying case, and it will shut off automatically.
10. WHAT DOES BREATHE TASTE AND SMELL LIKE?
Most BREATHE users will tell you the flavor emitted by this product replicates a traditional cigarette; yet the odor from BREATHE is barely noticeable, unlike traditional cigarettes, which create lingering, difficult-to-neutralize smells in rooms, cars and clothing.
11. WHERE DOES THE VAPOR GO?
BREATHE emits what appears to be smoke, but it is actually a virtually odorless vapor that evaporates into the air within seconds, similar to the functioning of a humidifier. BREATHE leaves no visual residue in the air or lingering smell in clothing, homes, or cars. Traditional smoking, on the other hand, can leave a fowl smelling, unsightly, acrid cloud known to irritate people’s eyes and senses.
12. CAN I VAPE BREATHE ANYWHERE?
Because BREATHE is non-flammable, contains no tobacco, and emits no secondhand smoke, it is not a form of smoking. As such, you most likely will be able to use products in places where smoking is prohibited. It is always a good idea to be aware of any vaping bans in areas where you may choose to use the product.
13. WHO IS USING BREATHE?
BREATHE is not to be sold to persons under the legal smoking age in your state. Additionally, BREATHE should not be used by anyone who is pregnant or has health concerns without first consulting the advice of a physician.
14. WHY ARE PEOPLE USING BREATHE?
Most people who smoke do so because they enjoy the emotional and physical sensations. BREATHE provides pleasures similar to those commonly associated with traditional smoking. The leading reasons people use BREATHE include:
- Freedom to smoke anywhere
- Social inclusion versus isolation
- No first or second hand smoke

15. IS BREATHE A SMOKING CESSATION PRODUCT?
BREATHE has never been tested or proven to be a smoking cessation product and is not sold or marketed as such. BREATHE offers no promise to help you to quit smoking. BREATHE is an alternative to smoking that offers the freedom to smoke anywhere without some of the negative aspects of traditional cigarettes.
